Mrs. Alice Ortego Beauvais
Died at 2:53 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Rest-Awhile in Morganza. Age 79. A native of Evangeline Parish, she lived in Maringouin. The body will be at her son's home in Maringouin until 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Services at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Maringouin. Interment in Immaculate Conception Church cemetery in Goudeau. Survived by three sons, Telemark Deauville of Cottonport, Horace Beauvais of Maringouin and Earnest Beauvais of Bossier City; five daughters, Mrs. Victoria Doherty of Palmetto, Mrs. Salonie Aymond, Mrs. Mildred Denova and Mrs. Hazel Smith, all of Maringouin, and Mrs. Lillian Fletcher of Kentucky; a brother, Rosemo Ortego, Cottonport; 28 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. Niland's Funeral Home in New Roads in charge of arrangements.
